TELEHANDLER TRAINING COURSE
NATIONALLY ACCREDITED TSHA ISSUED "GOLD CARD"
Telehandler Gold Card Course Overview
In NSW, a
High Risk Work (HRW) Licence is not required to operate a Telehandler
with fork attachments regardless of lifting capacity*, however in accordance
with the WHS Act and Regulations 2011 under PrimaryDuty of Care, a PCBU must provide information,
training, instruction or supervision that is necessary to protect all persons
from risks to their health and safety arising from work carried out as part of
the conduct of the business or undertaking. A Gold Card provides evidence of formal
information and training for operators or telescopic material handlers.
Telehandlers can have
various attachments such as: fork tynes, crane jib, bucket, basket or work
platform. In NSW, if the telehandler you are operating has over 3 tonnes
SWL/WLL capacity and a crane jib attached, you require a HRW Crane
Licence (CN or C2) to operate itor if over 3 tonnes SWL/WLL and has a work platform with an over 11m
boom length attached, you require a WP HRW licence. If you require further
